FAQ's

Is there on-site parking?

We have ample car parking which is FREE to guests who have booked directly with us or via Best Western Hotels. If you have booked via a 3rd party then the overnight fee is £10. There are also dedicated spaces for guests with disabilities.

What time is check in/check out?

The normal check in time is from 2pm and the normal check out time is up to 11am. Please ask us if you require an early check in or late departure.

Is there a safety deposit box in the room?

There isn't a safe in the room, but please let us know if you would like to store anything in our Safe at Reception. This can be accessed during Reception hours.

Absolutely amazing hotel! We chose this hotel to host our wedding, if I could give 10* I would, from the moment we booked our wedding to checking out we were really looked after by the hotel manager and her amazing team! Nothing is ever too much trouble for them all, they are all so polite and well mannered. We stayed for 2 nights and the rooms were clean and comfortable, the housekeeping staff are lovely and always have time to talk to you when passing. The breakfast on both mornings was lovely and well stocked, if anything ran out the servers would make sure it was topped back up really quick. So if your looking for a wedding venue or even just a place to stay for a few nights this is the place to be❤️

Great venue to hold a small function such as a birthday party or anniversary. The staff are very friendly and helpful there is lots of onsite free secure parking. I would highly recommend.

Thank you to Paul for arranging every detail to perfection and making a small celebration a wonderful evening. The plough exceeded my expectations and the whole team were attentive and hospitable all evening. Meg made sure everything was perfect and Colin the dj made it a fabulous party. .

Quite a dated hotel in need of some updates. Bathroom taps spin round when trying to turn on. Bed comfy and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Tracy and Tom. Unfortunately I had my car broken into during the night in their car park. Not alerted until next morning despite alarm going off. Two cars smashed into the same night. No security and cctv didn’t cover the area. Tracy and Tom did the very best they could in helping to clear glass etc. Very disappointing on security/night staff. Myself and other owner told they had called our rooms, but neither room phones working.!! Would not recommend if you need to park overnight

The in-room information States that the bar restaurant is closed - it hasn't been updated since COVID. Very limited menu and the food is basic. The hotel is shabby and not well maintained. Breakfast was unappealing so I skipped it. I stayed 2 nights - the place is run by teenagers who don't know what they are doing. My room wasn't made up even though I left the Please Make Up My Room tag on the door. If you just want a place to crash then it's okay. I expected more.
