I'm genuinely shocked at how nice this place actually is! Firstly, the décor is so nice that you really don't feel like you're in Birmingham - sorry. The staff are really friendly, I expected a sort of pretentious vibe but nope, all of them are really nice. We came at the weekend and didn't book but were guided and informed on how everything worked. Clay shooting is really fun! Guns are heavy though to our suprise. There seemed to be two areas, one for groups and the other for singles. We went in the singles area which you rotate with others to play various games. 2 tries per game we counted and once you're done, you're done. Would definitely recommend going regardless of party size.

Had such a blast here (excuse the pun)! The cocktails were fabulous, the staff were so lovely and the games were really fun and felt very unique! We came here on a Saturday night at 7pm and had no issue playing the games, it wasn’t too busy at all! The guns are quite heavy to lift but you have plenty of chance for a break between games if you need one! The cocktails were gorgeous, as it was actually their anniversary we got a free drink each and a cupcake to take away! All the staff were so kind, I accidentally scanned my game too early and the reset it with no problem! If you’re looking for a unique date night activity or something different with your mates, I’d definitely recommend here!

From the moment we arrived, the team at Clays Bar Birmingham made us feel welcome and excited for the experience ahead. The venue itself is stunning — modern, stylish, and buzzing with energy. It’s the perfect balance between a vibrant social setting and a unique activity space. The clay shooting simulation is unbelievably fun and so well put together. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a bit competitive, it’s incredibly easy to get the hang of and even easier to get hooked! The tech is top-notch and adds a real sense of challenge and achievement as you improve round after round. It’s also great how interactive and social it is; perfect for groups, work nights out, or even just a fun date night. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They explained everything clearly, kept the drinks flowing, and were genuinely keen to make sure we had the best possible time. Speaking of drinks — the cocktails were fantastic, creative, and beautifully presented. The food menu is spot on too: delicious small plates, great for sharing and exactly what you want alongside a few drinks and some friendly competition. Clays isn’t just an activity bar; it’s a whole experience. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for something a bit different in Birmingham. I’ll definitely be back!

Booked out the game both for 6 of us. Great food, great games. Slight downsides were that apparently there was a problem with the deliver and the availability of the beers and wasn't offered the draught ones on the bottomless until we spoken to the manager so that was fine. Other one the game wouldn't register my name 😅 Hol Holl Holly Hollistar hollyt Said all that my nickname wasn't available so strange 😭 but all rounder great experience

Really bad. I’ve been here before and it was great. It appears things have gone really downhill. Firstly we queued for a while and were then booked in under the wrong party. The staff member was polite and apologised for the wait. We met the host who apologised for how busy it was. It was absolutely rammed. The scanners on the games did not work and we were told to wait whilst the issue was fixed. After 10 minutes nobody came back to us so we asked and it appeared they had forgotten about us. They apologised again. The guns were all poorly calibrated and most of the games had at least one station out of order. The QR scanners did not work well and this meant our party was not able to play together. We went to the bar for some respite from all of this and many of the drinks were out of stock. The cocktails were apparently unavailable due to lack of ingredients. We ended up leaving after less than an hour as it was just too chaotic… although I noticed it was still possible to book online for that exact time, despite being so full you literally couldn’t move. Overall very disappointing. I tried to give this feedback on the website but they ignored it, hence this review. Go elsewhere.
