From the moment we arrived, the team at Clays Bar Birmingham made us feel welcome and excited for the experience ahead. The venue itself is stunning — modern, stylish, and buzzing with energy. It’s the perfect balance between a vibrant social setting and a unique activity space. The clay shooting simulation is unbelievably fun and so well put together. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a bit competitive, it’s incredibly easy to get the hang of and even easier to get hooked! The tech is top-notch and adds a real sense of challenge and achievement as you improve round after round. It’s also great how interactive and social it is; perfect for groups, work nights out, or even just a fun date night. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They explained everything clearly, kept the drinks flowing, and were genuinely keen to make sure we had the best possible time. Speaking of drinks — the cocktails were fantastic, creative, and beautifully presented. The food menu is spot on too: delicious small plates, great for sharing and exactly what you want alongside a few drinks and some friendly competition. Clays isn’t just an activity bar; it’s a whole experience. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for something a bit different in Birmingham. I’ll definitely be back!

As someone who has been on the lookout for places to hang out in Birmingham. I would say, the Clays Bar more than lived up to the expectations I had imagined and more. I really had a swell time here, even though I ran out of the time trying to capture everything cos I love to relive experiences😅 Went to celebrate a friend‘s Promotion at work and we were upgraded too before our spot was shown to us which was really nice. Of course, the first few hits we tried at the game after being directed on what to do were a mess but it was a pretty good game once we got all competitive and gotten a hang of it, pretty easy set of instructions to follow through really. And the staff were ever so attentive, always checking to ask if we needed anything. The fooddd too, was surprisingly so tasty. We only meant to have drinks but changed our minds and I’m glad we did. Definitely recommend this place for a cool Hang out Spot

Can't wait to return! We arrived for our premium package for my husbands 50th birthday. On arrival we were told that we needed to wait 10 min and was handed a free drinks token which was great. We were taken to our peg and all 8 of us thoroughly enjoyed our games. Such a fun day. The drinks were flowing, the music was great and the vibes were just perfect. We decided to use our food tokens after we played so we could relax and eat together. Food was fantastic, big shout out to Cara who reserved us a table, advised us on food and was a great host to us all. Nothing was too much trouble. She was amazing! Can't wait to come back!!

Visited with my wife during a weekday around lunchtime. Pre-booked online, and as it was just two of us, I wasn't able to pick a semi-private game area. However, on turning up, we were automatically upgraded to one for free. There were two touchscreen panels in the game area. One for selecting game modes, one for ordering food and drink. Both are easy to navigate. We only ordered standard drinks so can't say anything about the food. I can say we had a great time playing the games, and the staff were lovely and helpful.

4 of us met up for the arcade package - essentially 2 goes each of 5 different games in the arcade area It's a slightly convoluted procedure that involves scanning a QR code, then registering on a wall mounted console then going into the arcade and presenting your new code to play We were initially caught out by not all presenting our qr codes in time, we didn't realise there was a timer and so we couldn't all play together for the first game Still, it was a good experience and thoroughly enjoyable. The explanations could have been a bit clearer We also ate here and the food was pretty good, the giant olives were actually brilliant The biggest negative was probably one of the bar staff, given this is a public facing role she gave off an incredible I don't want to work here vibe. Miserable, surly, grumpy you get the picture. She actually sucked the life and enjoyment out of us like an energy vampire!! If it was just a pub I probably wouldn't go back somewhere with staff that miserable but the arcade experience did make up for it
