To celebrate me passed viva and my friend submitted his thesis. Lovely place to have brunch or dinner. Food portions are big. We couldn’t finish all of them. Duck&waffle and Chicken&Waffle are all very ice. The snack(pig ear) is great. We got two congratulations dessert for our work! 🥹 So sweet!

Delicious family brunch at Duck & Waffle. Corn Ribs, Polenta Croquettes and Giant Pigs in Blankets to start - ribs were the favourite. Lobster Rolls, Duck Waffles and Duck Benedict followed. Everything was delicious and very nicely presented. A couple of very indulgent desserts finished us off - the Snitch dessert looks fantastic. Great service from Daniele who kept the drinks and duck related dishes flowing throughout.

Favorite meal of my trip to Edinburgh so far! Delicious duck with crispy skin and a solid waffle with maple syrup being the star. It was hearty and a great meal for savory lovers. The whisky was smooth and I liked what I got for the price. The service was great, everyone was very welcoming, including server Lily and everyone else I came across. Interesting fun vibes inside, ritzy-like.

It was quiet when we went but Friday night, sat everyone close together which was understandable. The iconic duck and waffle was really delicious my partner gave this 9.5/10 I had the cod and was disappointed found the flavours odd, I didn’t complain, I’m sure if I had the would have changed it but I wouldn’t get it again. Starters were nice we had mussels in a spicy broth and the pigs cheek. Over all atmosphere was a bit lacking as it was quiet but entrance and restaurant are stunning. Staff friendly attentive and were great!

Very disappointed and the price was ridiculous for the 'snack' or starter. We both asked for cheesy polenta balls. At £4 each and received 2, one each. It wasn't even as big as a golf ball. Mains we had Duck Benedict and Breakfast burrito. (Pictures) It was ok to eat. Eggs were nice but just not worth it, not much duck and half a crap waffle. Burrito was soggy and for all it's ingredients it just wasn't good enough. The duck leg on a waffle looked better on the next table but for £25 ??? Over rated and over priced. Definitely won't return
