A really lovely hotel right in the heart of Birmingham with easy access to all the main areas. The rooms were immaculate and well serviced. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and plenty to eat.

Lobby, bar restaurant etc. are all very shiny, helpful staff, downstairs car park is handy but had some trouble getting in (despite pre-booking). The room was reasonably furnished, though I found the bed uncomfortable. Breakfast in the restaurant was self service buffet, well stocked with hot and cold options. For a business trip? Fine. For a holiday? Maybe not.

Went for a conference and networking event. The rooms accommodate up to 50. The bar is great for hosting networking events. Near the city centre. Paid parking nearby costs about 12 for 4 hours. No free parking!

The location of this hotel is very close to restaurants and stores. The rooms are older and tiny with the showers offering little room to move. The fitness center is closed and the breakfast leaves little to be desired. Update: They gave my colleague a room key to my room without asking for ID. Security is now a concern.

The worst night ever. Room was stuffy , air con didn’t do anything , literally had no sleep at all. The bed was uncomfortable , pillows were terrible. Parking under the hotel is the tightest to manoeuvre round, booked it and it was over capacity so ended up just leaving the car blocking others in. Service was ok. Location perfect for Utilita venue. Let’s hope breakfast is ok *update* Congratulations to the chef ! To be able to make bacon tasteless requires a certain skill, pan o chocolate and cinnamon rolls freshly baked the week prior making them as succulent as a door wedge. Although some small bits of the hotel require a refurb the standard of cleaning was high, the decor in the lounge bar and reception was nice, the staff have been very polite something the manager should be proud of.
