Birmingham’s Land restaurant is inspired by the name itself. Focusing on modern, plant focused dining, at Land they take inspiration from all around, and to show the world the best produce and flavours from all over the land. Located in the Great Western Arcade, near Birmingham’s Cathedral and a short walk from all of the local attractions and the city centre shops, this Vegan Restaurant is a go to for anyone looking for what the land has to offer.

Menus are developed to allow them to highlight the best ingredients available at that time, this may mean that a dish might change from one day to the next depending on what is available. Explore the latest six course Chef’s Tasting Menus on their website, which has been created by Head Chefs Adrian and Tony.

Opening in 2019, Land was created with a strong focus on plant-focused, seasonal dining. Using only the freshest seasonal product, dishes are inspired by flavours from around the globe, and are proud to be one of the many independent businesses within Great Western Arcade in the heart of Birmingham City Centre.

Reservations can be made for tables of up to 4 guests online, for tables over 4 guests, please contact them directly via the telephone.

All reservations are pre-paid. Bookings are non-refundable but can be moved to another date or transferred to another person. Any amendments to your booking will require at least 48 hours notice.

Land encourage all diners to have an open mind and enjoy the experience as it is intended. With a lot of time spent developing their dishes, they therefor do not cater for dislikes or make substitutions.

Visited Land yesterday for a six course taster menu and I was not disappointed. Staff were extremely attentive and could not do enough for you.The menu seemed very simple at first glance with a brief description of the key ingredients, which added to the excitement of what it would look like and taste like. Each course was beautifully presented and the staff would explain exactly what you were eating. Speed of service was excellent too, maybe ten minutes between courses. There was also an excellent choice of drinks on offer, soft drinks, cocktails and wine. If anyone ever thought vegan food was boring then just visit Land and see how wonderful plant based food can be. I have been vegetarian/vegan for forty plus years and I have never experienced anything like this. A perfect afternoon of great Company with a wonderful friend and amazing food. We particularly enjoyed the artichoke starter, the beetroot course and the squash course and I must mention the gorgeous warm sourdough bread with herb butter. This was food I will never forget and we can not wait to visit again. Thank you for a delightful experience 30/08/2025 Visited Land again today, another amazing experience. Food and service was exceptional, hoping to go back as a Christmas treat. Thanks again

Outstandingly inventive vegetarian fare with influences from different corners of world cuisine, especially with a 3-course weekday menu that's an absolute steal. The drinks are so well done too, and really warm service with some lovely recommendations!

Truly an experience. Excellent dishes full of character. Welcoming and knowledgeable staff. It unquestionably deserves its place in the Michelin Guide. Don’t miss it.

I visited here for a belated birthday treat by my godmother. This upmarket vegan restaurant really was a delight. The restaurant opened at 6 pm but we were able to be seated early, which was a nice respite from the rain. The staff collected and hung our coats, which gave us more space to breathe. There were only a handful of tables, but it didn't feel claustrophobic. As each course was served, the waiter explained the dishes. We opted for the 6 course menu and ordered a glass of wine off the menu. Unlike other fine dining vegan restaurants I've visited, each dish wasn't accompanied by a drink but that may have been on the larger menu. My godmother (who isn't vegan) and I really enjoyed our food from start to finish. As I have a sweet tooth, my favourite dish was dessert. My photos do not do the food justice. A big thank you to all of the staff 😊

I visited Land Restaurant with a friend after hearing great things about their plant-based menu. The food was creative, and I loved how fresh everything tasted, but our mains arrived much later than expected. We sat for almost 25 minutes between courses, and it felt a bit long since the place wasn’t too busy. The staff were polite and explained they were short-handed, which I appreciated, but it did take away from the overall experience.
