7 months agoVisited Land Restaurant Birmingham May 2024 I'd been excited to visit Land Restaurant for a while, but had always struggled to find a suitable date and time with the limited opening hours. Food quality is excellent. All natural food makes for a delightful experience. Good choice of drinks too. We went for the tasting menu which had a good mix of foods and styles. Overall a very good experience and a lot better than other top rated high end restaurants in Birmingham which offer vegan tasting menus. What I would say is make sure you don't have a time limit if you go for the tasting menu as we were there for a few hours, but it wasn't an issue as it only helped provide more time to make our way through the cocktail menu. Highly rated for an experience.

3 months agoIf you’re vegan, vegetarian or if you’re curious how tasty vegan food can be and looking to be inspired to make vegan dishes more exciting, then look no further. Go and treat yourself to the tasting menu, you won’t be disappointed! The atmosphere is fab too as the restaurant only has a few covers making it feel extra special!

2 months agoI visited here for a belated birthday treat by my godmother. This upmarket vegan restaurant really was a delight. The restaurant opened at 6 pm but we were able to be seated early, which was a nice respite from the rain. The staff collected and hung our coats, which gave us more space to breathe. There were only a handful of tables, but it didn't feel claustrophobic. As each course was served, the waiter explained the dishes. We opted for the 6 course menu and ordered a glass of wine off the menu. Unlike other fine dining vegan restaurants I've visited, each dish wasn't accompanied by a drink but that may have been on the larger menu. My godmother (who isn't vegan) and I really enjoyed our food from start to finish. As I have a sweet tooth, my favourite dish was dessert. My photos do not do the food justice. A big thank you to all of the staff 😊

4 months agoThe atmosphere feels cosy as the place is quite small, decoration is quite simple but it fits well the theme and looks sophisticated. The service is impeccable. As for the food, we tried their set menu. It’s definitely a worthwhile experience but I wasn’t swept off my feet by everything. The desserts were a faux-pas for me. Overall I would definitely recommend it for the experience still.
