Can we drop off our luggage at the hotel?

Luggage can be left at any Hotel du Vin reception. Please contact your hotel reception to arrange.

What time is check in/check out?

Check in is from 3pm, and check out is by 11am the following day

Can we get an extra bed or cot in our room?

Extra beds can be booked in advance at an additional £30. Not all room types can accommodate extra beds, so please be aware that you may need to upgrade to a larger room. Cots are supplied free of charge. Any cots or extra beds must be booked in advance of arrival with our Reservations Team on 0330 016 0390.

What is the minimum age for staying in a Hotel du Vin hotel?

The minimum age for staying in your own room is 18 years and over. Under 18's can stay in a room if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children's breakfast prices apply to 5-12 year olds, 4 years and under complimentary.

I am very conflicted about this hotel. Location excellent. Plenty of parking but charged at £12 per night which I think is very expensive. Room spacious and has everything (small fridge, safe etc). There are lamps on the bedside tables but for the life of me I couldn't find the switch but that turned out to be a good thing because that plug is the only one next to the bed. Bathroom very small with the toilet right next to the wall which made the situation a bit uncomfortable. WiFi was good but for some reason some apps wouldn't work (my banking app for example). Breakfast in my opinion is very expensive for what is being offered. £17.5 per person for continental buffet and you can order hot food. I ordered the French toast with bacon and maple syrup. As you can see from the photo it's just one slice of French toast, I would expect bigger portions for that money. Lastly the rooms don't have numbers but names, full names which makes navigation a bit difficult. Personally I don't think I will be back because there is no value for money.

Set in a beautiful park with great staff. The hotel is very tired though with worn, dirty looking paintwork in public areas. Bedrooms were comfortable but would benefit from more sockets, and it was a bit of a maze to find a room as all are named rather than numbered and there seemed no logic to the order! I really hope they smarten up where needed as it is a lovely hotel and I would happily stay there again

Lovely hotel, really fantastic staff. Great location - you'd never know you were so close to London. The quality of food is mainly excellent (although could do with a more varied menu IMO). Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Such terrible service is really hard to come by. The food was about the same — overcooked, oversalted, and mostly left on the plates. The only thing I enjoyed was the apple juice, even though it wasn’t freshly squeezed, and of course the beautiful view from the terrace over the garden.

Stay was marred by building work outside the room, right outside the window with builders on a scaffolding platform, impeding peace and privacy. A loud disco downstairs on the final night was equally disruptive. Worst of all, we weren’t given warning of these planned disruptions, nor were reception interested or able to address our concerns. What a shame that such a potentially lovely hotel is being so poorly managed.
