Sadly, we were only stopping at Ruby Lucy for one night. Our room was lovely - really spacious, the bed was insanely comfortable, the shower had good water pressure and the soap and shower gel is truly the most delicious thing I have ever smelled. The staff were a delight - nothing was too much trouble. The downstairs bar area was a lot of fun and beautifully designed. The breakfast was great - especially speaking as a vegan. There was good variety of both British favourites and continental options. The signature mocktail was so good I had 2. Great work, Ruby Lucy!

We popped into the hotel bar after work for some cocktails and had a fantastic experience! The cocktail menu was great, and we received outstanding service from Jessica and Emily. They really listened to what we enjoy in a drink, made thoughtful recommendations, and even surprised us with a custom cocktail. I can’t recommend this place enough for drinks—especially because of these two. I’ve never experienced such attention to detail at a cocktail bar before!

I stayed 6 nights at the Ruby Lucy in London and had a great experience. My room was spacious, the breakfast was good and i especially appreciated that the hotel bar was always staffed and available for quick bite or drink. The galleys stocked with boiling water and tea/coffee are a neat and welcome addition. Can only recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay around Waterloo Station.

Had a really great stay, rooms are so quiet and the air conditioning keeps the rooms nice and cool! Conveniently located a few minutes away from Waterloo, there are many cafés and places to eat just outside the hotel. The rooms have everything you need, and the staff behind the bar were always friendly and welcoming both at check in and when we used the bar in the evening ☺️ We'd definitely stay again when we're next in London!

I wanted to love this hotel. I stayed for a week based on the positive reviews. During the day, it’s great. After hours - completely different story. It’s advertised that the bar is open 24/7. After 11:30 pm, even though the spirits are out, there are no cocktails served - beer and wine only. Perfectly okay, but the gentleman who works late nights makes you feel terrible to ask for any kind of service. Tonight, I brought back a friend following a black tie event for a final glass of wine. Nobody was behind the bar for 30+ minutes. I eventually went looking for someone, only to find him playing a game in the lobby with AirPods in. I asked if we could grab a glass of wine or beer - he told me no (still with AirPods in) because my guest wasn’t staying at the hotel. Then went back to his game. Again, it’s a cool concept and I wanted to love this hotel. But really frustrating to feel like an inconvenience when you’ve spent a large sum of money to stay.
