Ruby Lucy Hotel London

I've spent 12 days at this lovely hotel, from the 16th to the 28th of February 2026. The room was clean and beautifully decorated, and the common areas were all cosy, clean, and had an alternative/rock vibe - which matches mine. The Hotel is located near Waterloo station, in an area full of restaurants, cafés, bars, etc., while also having a street market happening during business days! From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, I received a warm welcome, and the support from the staff members was exceptionally good (every single one of them!). Upon check-in, I was greeted by Emily and Melody, who provided clear instructions and were incredibly helpful during my first moments at the hotel. Emily is learning and could even speak my mother tongue, and over the following days, we had great exchanges! The same can be said for Manu, Guilherme, Marcelo, and Gustavo, my fellow Brazilians, who also made my stay far better and easier by helping with my silly tourist questions, mental lapses when asking obvious things, and for all the conversations we had when things were not busy, allowing for some really good chats! Ionut and Roman also welcomed me warmly and were really friendly, providing support whenever I needed it! Aki and Su must also be credited for being super friendly, attentive, and always smiling; their presence and energy gave me instant comfort every time! It was a shame our schedules didn’t overlap more often during my stay. Piero is also to be thanked! He’s a chill guy and didn’t mind preparing me a pizza at 3 AM after I collapsed in my room after arriving from work, waking up only to realise I hadn’t had a single meal since breakfast the entire day. I appreciate the consideration! Manu, Marcelo, Emily, Su, Aki, Gui, Gustavo, Ionut, Roman, Melody, Piero, and all the unsung heroes working in the cleaning staff: you are hard workers! My sincere thanks for... well... everything! If I ever return to London, I will head to Ruby Lucy looking for you all - you made my time in London the best it could be!

This evening my friend and I visited the Ruby Hotel bar in Waterloo. We originally planned to stop by just for one drink, but the atmosphere and the staff were so welcoming that we ended up staying much longer without even noticing the time passing. The place was very relaxed and chilled, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We were served by 3 guys Roman, Manu, and Aki who helped us with our drinks. They were welcoming, bubbly, and smiley. We enjoyed our evening and will definitely come back for another drink. Thank you very much for such wonderful service a well, i would rate it with 5 stars PLUS! We hope our feedback will be shared with the team.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the hotel. The team was excellent and took great care of everything, always attentive and helpful. There was a situation regarding a room change due to noise, and the team did everything possible to ensure we had a comfortable stay and could sleep well at night. Our recommendation would be to book one of the loft rooms with a balcony. A big thank you once again to the entire team for the outstanding service. We will definitely be coming back.

I didn’t stay at the hotel, but I visited the bar/café at Ruby Lucy Hotel London and had a great experience. The atmosphere was very nice, stylish, and relaxed. The bar staff really made the difference — Marcelo and Emily were incredibly polite, helpful, friendly, and always smiling. Their positive energy and excellent service made us feel very welcome. I would definitely come back just for the bar and the amazing staff. Highly recommended!

I first stayed at a Ruby hotel in Munich and loved it. So of course I had to stay at the one in London. I love boutique hotels and these don’t disappoint. The ambiance is warm and cozy but also modern and eclectic. The service is fantastic. Everyone is so warm and helpful. Specifically here in London, Melody and Aki took the time to answer a bunch of questions and assure that I was taken care of. I highly recommend staying here!
