How close is the nearest train station?

We're less than a three-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus (Piccadilly or Bakerloo lines) or Leicester Square (Northern or Piccadilly lines) tube stops. You can also reach us by rail - London Charing Cross station is just a ten-minute walk away.

Is there car parking at your hotels?

There is no onsite car parking. The Q Park (WC2H 7D) is nearby and costs £36 for 24 hours.

What time am I able to check-in?

Check-in time is from 3 pm onwards. If you would like to arrange for an earlier check-in time please mention this at the time of booking, a fee may apply. Otherwise, you can store your luggage at the reception and explore the sights until your room is ready.

What facilities can I expect at a Thistle Hotel?

All of our hotels have 24-hour reception, fast and free wi-fi, 24-hour room service, express checkout service and a bar and restaurant with British and European inspired menus.

Don't let the tiny Reception fool you: this hotel punches above its weight. We stayed for fifteen nights in midsummer. Incredible location on Leicester Square and within a short walk to Piccadilly Circus and Regent Street plus not far from Trafalgar Square. A taxi rank is on the opposite corner. Food stores, pubs and restaurants, including McDonald's, are nearby and so are many West End theatres (and the official ticket office). Rooms are reasonably sized, quiet, well-appointed and efficiently served with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Lifts (elevators) come quickly and work well. Breakfast is simple but more than satisfactory. Staff-members are friendly, helpful and eager to please. Laundry service was a little expensive but was quick and effective. Highly recommended.

Really nice hotel with comfortable rooms and an incredible location pretty much in front of m&ms. I stayed here for 3 nights and had great sleep, along with kind staff and service. Check-in and check-out was seamless. Rooms were clean as well as silent despite it being in front of a generally crowded area. Only thing someone might have to worry about is that accessibility isn’t too high, because to enter the hotel you need to go up some steps twice.

We had room 602 which was a nice room, clean and had everything you wanted except the air conditioning didn’t work , and the room was like an oven, so very hard to sleep, had that been working it would have been excellent. Close to all the theatres and usual London attractions , would recommend staying again juts hope the aircon works next time .

The Thistle Piccadilly is a perfect spot in the West end. We were able to walk easily to many sites. Our first room had air conditioning issues and the desk quickly moved us. Our room had a faint odor, like sewage or garbage that was there throughout our stay. Luckily, we do not go on vacation to spend time in the room.

Our group rented 4 rooms in this hotel. The air conditioning was not working in three of them. The shower cabin was leaking. The price was 4 stars, the standard was two stars. On the plus side: excellent location, comfortable bed, possibility of an earlier start to the hotel day.
