Fantastic quality rooms in a reasonably easy to access location. Check in and out were both incredibly easy and the staff were very friendly. There is also a small corner shop located at the ground floor which you can access through the lobby that has a great selection.

Great overall stay, well decorated and furnished studio, much more spacious than I expected and a bargain price. Was upgraded to a terrace room too. Room was clean and served all my needs. Bonus, free on street parking between 7:30 and 8am.

We had a one night stay - it was simple and straight forward, agood experience with a free room upgrade and a comfortable bed. Decent heating in the room too.

Sadly had a horrendous night here. Firstly, a very chaotic check-in, then a free "upgrade" (more on that later), next on my way to the room I smelled cigarette smoke indoors, but I just thought it would be a temporary thing. Got to the room, not quite what I had booked, plus no USB sockets so no way to charge my phone. Reception said I have to buy my own charger from the attached convenience store. I awoke at 2am to find my room filled with cigarette smoke, complained via WhatsApp (there is no phone to reception), went to the bathroom which smelled of weed, back to the bedroom. Laying awake the smoke coming in was now menthol cigarettes. Disgusting. I asked for a room change and was told that the only rooms available were on the 3rd floor so I could only be moved opposite where I was? They seem to upgrade you to give you the room they want rather than the one you have booked. Eventually after pressing them they put me in an accessible room on the 6th floor which was fine. I complained on check-out and they said they would keep the deposit of the room that broke the rules. But, that's not really any help to me. Worst stay in my many years of travel.

I arrived in Birmingham late at night after a long journey from London, only to be told that my room was already fully booked—despite the fact that the hotel knew about their mistake well before my arrival. Instead of calling me in advance to warn me, they waited until I showed up, exhausted and unaware. I chose this hotel specifically because of its location, as I had a critically important meeting early the next morning. I paid £370 for this room, yet they “relocated” me to a partner hotel that was miles away and worth barely a quarter of what I paid. The entire transfer process dragged on for more than two stressful hours, and throughout it all, there was no refund, no compensation, no apology of real value. When we asked to speak with the manager, we were told the manager was “resting” and unavailable. Imagine this: it was nearly midnight, I had nowhere to stay, and the person responsible simply went home for the night. This is not just poor management—it is dishonesty, greed, and a complete lack of basic human decency. The staff’s attitude was cold, indifferent, and shockingly unhelpful. This hotel took my money, ruined my night, and jeopardized an important professional commitment without a shred of accountability.
